Variety announced today that Jeremy LaLonde’s psychological drama “Ashgrove” will be the Opening Night Gala at the Cinefest Sudbury International Film Festival, once of Canada’s largest fests. The film had its world premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival back in March 2022, and will open in theaters across Canada on Dec. 2, via distributor Northern Banner Releasing. Starring Amanda Brugel, Jonas Chernick, Natalie Brown and Shawn Doyle, “Ashgrove” picked up to awards at the 2022 Canadian Film Festival, and has recently sold to US distributor Good Deed Entertainment, UK distributor (Yet Another) Distribution Company, and international sales company Cardinal XD.
